It sucks as hard as you want and vibrates at the same time. I rate it a 9. I think they are better when you have one suction for the nipples and another for your clit. This does all three with the same suction. I can take more suction on my clit than nipples so it will hurt my nipples when my clit is just right. I say to buy them separately but it is up to you. It is still a very good product.
